Did you try to boot the laptop in safe mode? Just in case you don't know, heres how;
Entering Safe Mode (Windows 7) Do you have a Windows 7 disc?
Did MBAM find anything?

It seems that Gmail marks emails from TnT (and a lot of other forums) as spam.
So, if you're not receiving notification mails etc from TnT - please check Gmail's spam folder.
And add our email address to your contact list:
